Today Organizations do not lack performing leaders. Most organizations seek leaders who can deliver results. Over the years, corporates have faced unprecedented corporate scandals such as the Enron Saga, and the VW scandal. Most of these institutions posted excellent results, and their share performed attractively at the stock market. Organizations for the future need more than performing leaders. There is such a great hugger for authentic ethical-moral leaders in the corporate market. Authentic ethical-moral leaders do not only consider performance as a pre-requisite for leadership but rather the quality life of the leaders, who are honest, humble, exercise self-regulation, espousing emotional intelligence, high sense of accountability and act as stewards. Authentic ethical-moral leaders, have a high esteem of personal character and demonstrate integrity even in private places. Authentic ethical-moral leaders can only do in secret what they can do in public, the leader has a living conscience and does not justify a lack of moral behavior on themselves. The leader is reflective and always practices self-confrontation. Authentic ethical-moral leaders, exercise self-policing, their behavior is not controlled by just codes of ethics, moral and character determine the leader's action.
Spot on Pastor. True leadership is what is lacking in our politics, churches, marriages, families, commerce, economics, etc. This lack has thrown the whole and it's systems into turmoil. We going down the abyss if the numbers of true leaders keeps diminishing towards extinction like is the trend nowadays. I know Pastor you have been called to brings issues to both the church and circular and my prayer is God continues to reveal the mysteries of leadership to you. Allow God TI stretch you a little bit more to overlapping of boundaries and limits that you never thought or imagined you could reach. God bless
